Do you want to make a real difference with your creative content? We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator who can translate stories into posts that resonate, inspire, and engage.
Helping people in need is what the Red Cross stands for! As a Social Media Content Creator in the communications team for the Northern Netherlands region, you'll be co-responsible for keeping our social media channels up-to-date and creating engaging content.
For example, you'll follow Red Cross volunteers who provide first aid at events like the Groningen 4 Mile Race, Bartje 200 in Drenthe, and the Frisian Eleven Cities Cycling Tour.
Job tasks and duties
- You'll develop creative and engaging content for our social media channels (text, images, and video).
- You'll bring our message to life for a wide audience with engaging content.
- You'll monitor trends and respond effectively to them.
- You'll work from our Communications Plan, which includes our corporate identity and tone of voice.
- You'll analyze results and contribute ideas on how we can further expand our reach and impact.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo

- Posting on social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook) is right up your alley.
- You know how to tailor your language to your target audience.
- You want to use your talent for a social mission and are energized by making an impact.
- You have experience with social media platforms and content creation tools (such as Canva, Photoshop, or video editing).
- You easily integrate into social settings and enjoy attending events independently.
