Studio Daadkracht offers a workshop where everyone can work independently or with guidance on sewing machines and more. We offer everything related to textiles. At Studio Draadkracht, we offer various courses and workshops. Even true beginners are welcome, for example, for a short course or workshop on sewing with a sewing machine, serger, crochet, knitting, screen printing on fabric, clothing alterations, and more.

Job tasks and duties

In 2026, Studio Draadkracht will be celebrating its 10th anniversary – and we're going to celebrate! Not with one big party, but with 10 festive activities, every 10th of the month (except during the summer holidays). Think of an exchange fair, workshops, get-togethers, and more. For this special anniversary year, we're looking for an enthusiastic PR volunteer to help us raise awareness.
What will you do?
As a PR volunteer, you'll be the creative brain and the executor behind the communication surrounding our anniversary year.

  • Create a PR plan for the anniversary year in consultation with the team.
  • Ensure general visibility of Studio Draadkracht and our anniversary.
  • Promote the 10 monthly activities through various channels.
  • Write and distribute press releases to (digital and print) press.
  • Manage and maintain our social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Design or coordinate posters and flyers.
  • Use our network newsletter to keep people engaged.
  • Encourages word-of-mouth advertising through ambassadors and visitors.
  • Proposes ideas for spreading the message in original ways.

Minimum education level: havo/vwo

Job skills and qualities

Who are you?

  • You have a knack for communication, creativity, and storytelling.
  • You enjoy working independently, but also appreciate collaboration.
  • You enjoy working with art, textiles, or social projects.
  • Experience with PR/communications is beneficial, but not required.
  • You live in the region and feel connected to Studio Draadkracht's mission.
