At the Labyrinth, pupils learn from their own interests and in their own way. The Labyrinth is a small-scale B3 school for inspirational secondary education and offers pupils aged about 11 to 20 years the space to enjoy developing themselves from the heart and discover their talents and strengths. There is no time pressure on achieving a particular learning goal and pupils are not required to learn the same thing at a particular time. The Labyrinth guides and supports pupils' individual school journey and helps them to start feeling their soul journey again.
What does our heart-based education look like?
Pupils, from vmbo-tl to vwo level, attend the Labyrinth 4 days a week. Wednesday is a free day. We currently have 39 pupils, coming from various corners of the world. At least two coaches are present every day. There are also subject teachers, tutors and interns.
Job tasks and duties
We are looking for a philosophy teacher for 2 hours a week (by mutual agreement).
You will guide pupils in philosophy. You are open to looking together with the student at what the student wants to learn and what the student needs for this. You may work with a small group of students, but 1-on-1 guidance is also possible. Some pupils are already preparing for the state exam this school year. You are skilled and capable of guiding these pupils in an inspiring way. Within our education system, no tests or examinations are given, unless the students ask for them. Through personal attention, you keep a close eye on the students' progress and keep track of it in our student monitoring system.
Minimum education level: hbo/wo
Job skills and qualities
You hold a first-degree qualification in philosophy.
