As a volunteer at the Parent & Child Morning, you will bring a moment full of joy and connection to children aged 2 to 4 and their parents. You will help children discover and have fun. At the same time, you will provide a warm atmosphere where parents feel welcome.

Job tasks and duties
Together with a professional from the WIJ team, you will organise the Parent & Child Morning at Rivierenhof 98 in Groningen every Wednesday from 09:30 to 11:00. From December, another location will be found for this activity. Your tasks are:
- You give the children and their parents a warm welcome.
- You will devise and provide toddler activities, such as reading aloud, crafts or making music.
- You will prepare materials and clean up after the activity.
- You create a cosy, cheerful and safe atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.
- You ensure the privacy of the children and their parents.
Job skills and qualities
- Someone with a heart for young children (2 to 4 years).
- You are enthusiastic, energetic and committed.
- You are hospitable and sociable: you welcome children and parents with a smile.
- You are available weekly on Wednesday mornings.
- Experience with toddlers is nice, but not mandatory.
