Job tasks and duties
This vacancy is not with Autism Digital itself, but with a partner organization: Autism Network North. While volunteer work at Autism Digital takes place exclusively online, Autism Network North also offers on-site work.
Autism Network North is a collaborative platform for organizations working in the fields of treatment, support, care, housing, education, and employment. Together, we gain new knowledge about autism and share experiences. We are looking for people with lived experience to help us with this.
What are the responsibilities?
You'll be participating in the Autism Network North Think Tank. The Think Tank meets online approximately six times a year and sets agendas for themed meetings. Participation means:
- In these online meetings, you'll contribute to discussions on topics and current developments in the field of autism.
- You'll help devise and organize meetings.
Job skills and qualities
- You have been diagnosed with autism.
- You want to improve the well-being and participation of people with autism by collaborating with organizations affiliated with Autism Network North.
- You understand the importance of experiential knowledge and/or have completed training in experiential expertise.
Extra information
You will be working for Autism Network North, but as a volunteer with the Autism Digital Foundation. They will provide you with a volunteer agreement, volunteer allowance, and travel expenses. You will be covered by the association's insurance, which supplements the municipality's volunteer insurance. After a two-month probationary period, you will need to apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The coordinator of Autism Network North will oversee the work.
The tasks in this vacancy can potentially be combined with tasks from other Autism Network North vacancies.
