Job tasks and duties
Do you enjoy doing something for local seniors? We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who would like to help at our fun activities for seniors on Friday afternoons.
- As a supervisor, you and the team will ensure a pleasant atmosphere.
- You will help organise small activities, such as games, creative afternoons, bingo, shuffleboard with soup and enjoy a chat with participants.
- You bring people together, provide fun and conviviality and get a lot of gratitude and nice conversations in return.
Job skills and qualities
- A warm heart for the elderly: You enjoy dealing with the elderly and are attentive to their needs.
- Good social skills: You can easily make contact, listen well and have a sociable chat.
- Patience and kindness: You take your time with people and treat everyone with respect.
- Liability: You keep appointments and are a stable factor for participants.
- Enthusiasm and commitment: You bring positive energy and help make the activity fun.
- Practical and independent: You can pick up small tasks, help prepare activities and think about improvements.
