Job tasks and duties
At Autisme Digitaal, we recently appointed three managers. These are volunteer positions where you'll be ultimately responsible for one of our organization's three sectors. As an employee manager, you'll be ultimately responsible for the employee sector. You'll have a leadership role with significant responsibility, but within an organization that's geared towards autistic characteristics and resilience.
What are the responsibilities?
- You will lead the management team. Within the management team, you will be the point of contact for the board. You will meet with the other managers every two weeks and chair these meetings.
- You will be ultimately responsible for the entire volunteer journey: from the initial introduction and onboarding to evaluations and any subsequent departures. You will delegate most tasks. You will prepare volunteer agreements and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) applications for all employees. If new coordinators are needed, you will hire and train them.
- You will manage three coordinators who are responsible for the guidance and support of all our volunteers. You will maintain regular individual contact with them and lead joint meetings with them three times a year. If a coordinator steps down, you will temporarily assume some of their responsibilities.
- You will create an annual plan together with the coordinators in your sector, review activities, and prepare reports for the sector employees. You ensure that volunteer data is stored correctly and securely, always in accordance with GDPR regulations.
