Job tasks and duties
What will you do?
Each week, parents of children meet and then engage in conversation with each other under your guidance. You will be providing this guidance in one of the neighbourhoods where Together operates.
What is the purpose of the parent coach?
- Creating a safe and personal atmosphere in the weekly parent meetings.
- To be able to respond flexibly to (individual) questions and refer where necessary.
- Discuss substantive topics in the group.
- Support parents in taking new steps.
- Encourage and expand relevant networks for parents.
All this you will do under the guidance of our professional parent coach.
Job skills and qualities
- Culturally sensitive.
- Good conversation skills.
- To make parents feel at ease.
- Able to communicate in Dutch.
- Able to think outside the box.
- Experience with Dutch (primary) education is a plus.
- Available in the afternoon between 13:00-17:00.
