Extra information

We are building, literally, the future by making the past fly: the Helpman 1, a 1911 Groningen plane that once really took to the skies. Our goal? To have this historic aircraft take off again and, in doing so, inspire people, connect them and make them proud of our Groningen inventiveness. In doing so, we want to show what Groningers can do when they join forces: connect, inspire and make an impact.

Building we do with inspired and creative people, whether you are retired or think just a little differently than usual, the plane can use you. Everyone can participate because we work according to design methodology, first understanding the problem and the cause and only then coming up with a solution by brainstorming or juxtaposing insights.

The foundation has an enthusiastic team of some 12 members and 15 partners. The build-up phase is behind us; the foundation is solid, the atmosphere good and the finances healthy. Now we are looking for someone who wants to fly and safeguard further in this course.
