Chairman Humanist Society Groningen and Ommelanden section

The board of the Groningen and Ommelanden department of the Humanist Society is looking for a chairman.

The chairman

• Leads the monthly board meeting.
• Represents the department to the: 
  • national organisation
  • other departments of the Humanist League
  • to various other organisations
• Is partly responsible for organising the content of the activities of the Groningen department
• We expect from the chairman, that he or she can propagate humanist values and norms and is (or becomes) a member of the Humanist Society 

The department has about 30 active members, who each contribute to the activities of the department in their own field.

The chairman must be (or become) a member of the Humanist Society and must be able to propagate the Humanist idea and be a connector.
