You'll be working with an enthusiastic team to create a free neighborhood festival that brings three days of festivities and fun to the entire neighborhood. The Spring Festival is an important and beloved event in the Oosterpark district, featuring music, street theater, delicious food, and activities for all ages. As a volunteer, you'll help make this festival possible where residents can connect, have fun, and celebrate spring—all together with other engaged and enthusiastic people.
Job tasks and duties
You'll support the catering for the approximately 30 volunteers involved during the festival. This includes:
- Providing coffee, tea, soft drinks, and other beverages for volunteers and visitors.
- Help prepare and serve lunch and dinner.
- Help in the kitchen with tidying up, washing dishes, and other support tasks.
- Work with other volunteers to ensure everyone feels welcome and cared for.
You'll also be part of a team that contributes to a festive festival that combines music, street theater, children's activities, games, and delicious snacks and drinks for visitors of all ages.
