As a lock keeper, you're the host of our lake. You welcome boats entering the lake through the lock and guide them safely through the lock. Every day is different, and together with your fellow lock keepers, you ensure safe passage through the lock. You'll be working alone at the lock, but you'll hand over your shift to a colleague.
Job tasks and duties
During the sailing season, the lock is open from April 1st to October 1st from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Lock shifts are from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The schedule is determined in consultation, and you can swap shifts with your colleagues.
Job skills and qualities
An affinity for technology and vessels is desirable, as well as good communication skills.
