Cooking with children

Every Thursday we organize children's cooking sessions at Van Houten (except during school holidays). We start at 1:30 PM with the set-up, and the children arrive at 2:30 PM. We have about 8 children at a time, and it's a fairly consistent group.
Children's cooking sessions are always done with a colleague!
What does the afternoon look like?

1:30 PM: We, the supervisors, set up everything and discuss the details while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.
2:30 PM: The children arrive and start with a glass of lemonade and make a drawing.
3:00 PM: We start cooking and making dessert. The children do as much as possible themselves. They read the recipe and cut the ingredients themselves, under our guidance.
4:45 PM: The meal is ready. It's either in the oven or we'll keep it warm. Then there's time for a little playtime. 5:00 PM: Dinner. As a caregiver, you'll eat with us :)
5:45 PM: Clearing up and washing dishes together with the children.
6:00 PM: Children are picked up.
6:15 PM: Final tidying up and any necessary evaluation.
7:00 PM: You can definitely go home around this time, sometimes a little earlier.
