Do you like to be practical and do you like to get down to business? Setting up and dismantling the Groningen 4daagse is a major challenge - from flags and fences to electricity and technology. As a volunteer in this team, you will make sure everything is in place.
The Groningse 4daagse is the new walking event in the Netherlands, where sportsmanship, culture and fun come together. From Tuesday 4 to Friday 7 August 2026, you will walk in four stages through the best Groningen has to offer - from the bustling city centre to the tranquillity of the vast Ommeland. With daily start and finish at the atmospheric Grote Markt, up to 3,000 participants can choose from distances of 20 or 40 kilometres.
Job tasks and duties
- Construction of tents, flags, barriers.
- Technical support (cables, power, boxes).
- Clean up and dispose of after the event.
- Assist with logistical tasks on site.
Job skills and qualities
- You are physically fit and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
- You can work well together.
- You like practical results.
Extra information
- Deployment on Sunday 2 August, Monday 3 August and Saturday 8 August.
- Multiple shifts possible, including evenings.
- Food and drinks arranged of course.
