The rest points of the Groningen 4daagse are oases for walkers - and you are their rest bringer there. You will help participants find water, a place to sit, a listening ear and be their regular point of contact during the walk.
The Groningse 4daagse is the new walking event in the Netherlands, where sportsmanship, culture and conviviality come together. From Tuesday 4 to Friday 7 August 2025, you will walk in four stages through the best Groningen has to offer - from the bustling city centre to the tranquillity of the vast Ommeland. With daily start and finish at the atmospheric Grote Markt, up to 3,000 participants can choose from distances of 20 or 40 kilometres.
Job tasks and duties
- Greet participants at rest posts.
- Explaining facilities (toilet, first aid, route).
- Simply handing out water or snacks.
- Assist with any questions or inconvenience.
Job skills and qualities
- You are patient, caring and friendly.
- You like contact with people.
- You radiate calmness and energy.
Extra information
- You are at a fixed rest location or changing point.
- Food/drink is of course well organised.
- You choose your own shift and you can join for several days.
