Do you enjoy being involved in the cultural heart of the Groningen Four Days Marches? As a Stage Assistant, you'll support the stage manager, guide artists, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. The performances take place on the Grote Markt, and the artists are welcomed at The Market Hotel.
The Groningen Four Days Marches is the new walking event in the Netherlands, where sportsmanship, culture, and conviviality converge. From Tuesday, August 4th to Friday, August 7th, 2026, you'll walk in four stages through the best that Groningen has to offer – from the bustling city center to the tranquility of the vast Ommeland region. Starting and finishing daily on the atmospheric Grote Markt, up to 3,000 participants can choose from distances of 20 or 40 kilometers.
Job tasks and duties
- Welcoming and guiding artists.
- Keeping the greenroom tidy and well-maintained.
- Supporting the stage manager.
- Monitoring timing and scheduling.
