The Groningen Four Days Marches is the new walking event in the Netherlands, where sportsmanship, culture, and conviviality converge. From Tuesday, August 4th to Friday, August 7th, 2026, you'll walk in four stages through the most beautiful Groningen has to offer – from the bustling city center to the tranquility of the vast Ommeland region. Starting and finishing daily on the atmospheric Grote Markt, up to 3,000 participants can choose from distances of 20 or 40 kilometers.
Are you an early bird or a day person with energy for ten? Then you might just be the face of our start and finish area on the Grote Markt. As a member of the Start & Info Point team, you'll help participants get started, answer questions, and create a welcoming first impression.
Job tasks and duties
- Welcoming and registering participants.
- Distributing wristbands/bib numbers.
- Informing visitors and participants.
- Assisting at the start and finish lines.
Job skills and qualities
- Enthusiasm and a smile.
- You enjoy interacting with people.
- Experience is welcome, but not required.
