The Red Cross North Netherlands region is looking for workshop leaders Well Prepared.

Job tasks and duties

As an educator/workshop leader, you will provide interactive workshops and information in Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe, teaching participants how to prepare for emergencies. With the game Geen Nood! you will make risks transparent and help people in an accessible way to put together a tailor-made emergency kit. Everyone leaves with practical tips they can immediately apply at home. If something really happens, they feel more confident and resilient.
A workshop lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. You will deliver at least 8 workshops a year, preferably in the province where you live, and you will help prepare your own workshops.

Minimum education level: mbo

Job skills and qualities

  • You have an affinity with the topic of resilience and prevention.
  • You have experience in guiding groups.
  • You know how to inspire and motivate participants.
  • You are flexible and have the ability to interact on different levels.
  • You have a valid driving licence and the availability of a car.
