Interesting about this job
The Red Cross Northern Netherlands region is looking for workshop leaders with "Well Prepared."
The Netherlands is a safe country, but emergencies like power outages, flooding, or extreme heat can also occur here. Therefore, it's important that people know how to prepare. Do you want to contribute to a resilient society? Then we're looking for you!
We offer:

- Professional support and access to our training programs.
- Travel allowance and insurance during your work.
- Opportunities to develop within a unique organization.
Job tasks and duties
As an information officer/workshop leader, you'll lead interactive workshops and information sessions in Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe, teaching participants how to prepare for emergencies. Using the "No Emergency!" game, you'll visualize risks and help people easily create a customized emergency kit.
You'll deliver workshops on request to various target groups, for example, at a community center, library, or club.
Everyone will leave with practical tips they can immediately apply at home. This way, if something really happens, they'll feel more confident and resilient.
A workshop lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. You'll lead at least 8 workshops per year, preferably in your home province, and you'll help prepare your own.
