For young people with dementia, exercise is very important. Cycling on the duo-bike is a fun and sociable way to get out and about together.
You will make our young residents with dementia incredibly happy by cycling a lap with them!
Our duo bikes have an electric drive, which makes cycling not difficult.
Job tasks and duties
- One hour or part of a day a week cycling around with some young residents with dementia
- You can cycle in the neighbourhood, but also, for example, go to the resident's former home, or do a tour of the city centre .
- With your care colleagues, you agree when you will visit and with which resident you will cycle where
Job skills and qualities
- You have good mobility
- You are fit enough to ride an electrically assisted (duo) bike
- You enjoy helping others
- You can have a chat with people
- You are sociable and calm
