Job tasks and duties
As a Fundraiser, you love the challenge of convincing someone. In addition, you see economic opportunities and know how to align hooks from Bolingo/dance community with corporate and sponsor interests. As a fundraiser, you will be involved in sponsoring and acquisition. Armed with a good story, you will talk to companies and sponsors to persuade them to contribute to the Bolingo Foundation. You will work together with the founders of Foundation Bolingo to coordinate planning and activities and fine-tune strategy along the way.
- You can substantiate requests for funds ranging from a few thousand euros and more.
- You think along about organising/setting up new projects, activities and events.
- Want to collaborate on obtaining funds and grants.
- Introduce new ideas for fundraising.
- You will establish and maintain contacts with external parties.
- You raise funds and grants in general.
- You raise funds and or sponsorship for activities and events.
- Convey the message and story of the Bolingo Foundation.
- Maintain social media of the foundation.
Job skills and qualities
- A liking for commerce.
- A drive to perform.
- A 'hands on' mentality.
- Is creative, resourceful and sees opportunities where others may not notice them.
- You have Social and Communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and strong commercial acumen with empathy and genuine community involvement
- Perseverance (in the face of rejection), networking, strategic thinking
- You can work independently and in a team of Volunteers
- Experience in fundraising/acquisition (pre)
- Flexibly employable.
- Affinity with the target group.
- Have knowledge of social media.
