You will go on (home) visits to meet new participants of the Volunteers & Dementia project
You get to know new volunteers together with the project coordinator
You ensure a good match between the volunteers and participants, and you introduce the new volunteer to the relevant participant
You support and guide your paired volunteers. After the pairing, you are their contact person from Humanitas
You help organise theme meetings and think about PR work

Minimum education level: mbo

You have an affinity for dementia & an interest in working with people
Good accessibility
You enjoy working collaboratively
You have an open attitude and are flexible
You are available for two half-days a weekYou want to commit to this project for a longer period
You speak good Dutch and function at mbo/hbo level
Working with a computer is not a problem for you
You are willing to follow the training for new Volunteer Coordinators. This consists of 3 half-day sessions

You will have quiet time to master the coordination work, in the first period you will be guided and supported by your fellow coordinators
Support from the Volunteers & Dementia project coordinator and the Humanitas association
Apposite training sessions & meetings
WA -insurance

A cosy and small team of volunteer coordinators, we meet once a month for consultation and exchanging experiences
