Every Monday morning from 10.30am, a group of over-55s meet in the Semmelstee (Corpus den Hoorn). Here they start the day with a cup of coffee or tea. Then they get to work together on a creative assignment or workshop. This varies (and surprises) every week: from writing assignments (such as poetry), to workshops in theatre, singing and dance.
Each week there is room for twelve enthusiastic 55-plussers from the Corpus den Hoorn and Hoornse Meer area.
Because of the departure of our regular volunteer, we are looking for:
Cartinator Monday Morning Muse.
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who wants to be both a cartinator and part of the group. Someone who gives energy, connects people and helps shape the Monday mornings - thinking together with the group about the content and taking the lead in the organisation. So that every time there is something creative to start the week together.
Job tasks and duties
You:
- Know what is going on in the group and keep in touch with both present and absent members
- Invites interested parties
- Gathers the group's ideas and can translate them into a concrete programme
- Makes people enthusiastic and encourages them to host a morning themselves
- Likes to give workshops or supervise activities yourself
- Liaises with the administrator of The Semmelstee and the Culture Coach of VRIJDAG in the Neighbourhood
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities

- Social and committed - with a heart for the 55+ target group
- Curious, versatile and creative
- Vigorous
- At ease with music, movement, dance or art
- Liked to cooperate and take the lead
- Preferably: you play a musical instrument and can occasionally accompany the group when singing

When: Every Monday morning, walk-in from 10.30am, end at 12.30pm. Participation is free of charge. Coffee and tea can be ordered at the bar.
