Job tasks and duties
You will support the teacher before, during and after Dutch lessons. You will sometimes supervise an individual student and at other times perhaps a small group of students, always under the supervision of the teacher.
You will help prepare and clean up the classroom.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for volunteers who enjoy working with foreign-speaking people and are comfortable with the Dutch language.
A language volunteer:
- Has patience
- Has an interest in other people and other cultures
- Can enthusiastically motivate course participants to learn the Dutch language
- Is flexible and can improvise
- Is open to feedback
- Is open to a joke
An educational background is not necessary but is an advantage.
