Job tasks and duties
- You will support the teacher before, during and after the Dutch lessons on Wednesday afternoons and/or Thursday mornings.
- You will sometimes supervise an individual student and other times perhaps a small group of students, always under the supervision of the teacher.
- You will help prepare and clean up the classroom.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for a volunteer who enjoys working with foreign-speaking people and has a good command of the Dutch language.
A language volunteer:
- Has patience
- Has an interest in other people and other cultures
- Can enthusiastically motivate course participants to learn the Dutch language
- Is flexible and can improvise
- Is open to feedback
- Is open to a joke
- An educational background is not necessary but is an advantage
Extra information
We are looking for a volunteer for Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. If you cannot do both parts of the day, we would still like to hear from you. One of the two half-days is certainly negotiable.
