Job tasks and duties
- You support the teacher before, during and after Dutch lessons for young people, aged 18 to 28, who are required to integrate.
- You will sometimes supervise an individual student and other times perhaps a small group of students, always under the supervision of the teacher.
- You will help prepare and clean up the classroom.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who enjoys working with foreign-speaking young people and is comfortable with the Dutch language.
A language volunteer:
- Has patience.
- Has an interest in other people and other cultures.
- Can enthusiastically motivate young students to learn the Dutch language.
- Is flexible and can improvise.
- Is open to feedback.
- Is open to a joke.
An educational background is a plus but not essential.
