Job tasks and duties

WelZINN offers a comprehensive programme focused on the well-being of older people. There is a focus on art, music and culture. We organise recurring activities, organise theme weeks and take part in various projects. Voluntary work within elderly care is incredibly diverse!
As a volunteer, you will support the bingo for residents with a psychogeriatric background (PG); these are residents with dementia.
You will help with:

  • preparing the room and equipment
  • Watching and guiding residents during the bingo
  • Creating a nice, relaxed atmosphere
  • Cleaning up afterwards
  • You will work together with colleagues and other volunteers from WelZINN. The bingo takes place weekly on Tuesday afternoons from 14:30 - 16:00, volunteers are present from 14:00 - 16:30.

Job skills and qualities

  • You have an affinity with elderly people, preferably with the PG target group
  • You are patient, friendly and have an eye for others
  • You enjoy contributing to an enjoyable afternoon
  • Experience is not necessary; enthusiasm is
