Job tasks and duties
WelZINN offers an extensive program aimed at the well-being of the elderly. Attention is paid to art, music and culture. We organize recurring activities, organize theme weeks and participate in various projects. Volunteer work within elderly care is incredibly diverse!
As a volunteer, you support bingo for residents with a psychogeriatric background (PG); these are residents with dementia.
You help with:
- Preparing the space and supplies.
- receiving and guiding residents during bingo.
- Creating a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
- Cleaning up afterwards.
- You work together with colleagues and other volunteers from WelZINN. Bingo takes place weekly on Tuesday afternoons from 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM, volunteers are present from 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM.
Job skills and qualities
- You have an affinity with the elderly, preferably with the PG target group.
- You are patient, friendly and have an eye for others.
- You enjoy contributing to a pleasant afternoon.
- No experience is necessary; enthusiasm though.
