Cosis supports people with a psychological and/or intellectual disability in living, working and daytime activities. In Haren we have a residential location on Torenlaan where 30 clients live. Everyone has their own apartment. Many residents go to work or daytime activities a few days a week. In addition, there is always guidance available that clients can call on 24 hours a day.
Job tasks and duties
You help at the residential location and support both residents and the team. For example:
- Help with tidying up and cleaning the meeting room.
- Support during pleasant coffee moments.
- Help with preparing meals.
- Assist in serving meals.
- Encourage residents to exercise, for example by walking or cycling together.
- Sometimes going to appointments, such as the dentist or physiotherapist.
- Help with groceries or small chores.
- Organize activities, such as bingo or a shuffleboard evening.
Job skills and qualities
- You are reliable and look well-groomed.
- You enjoy working with people who have a (mild) disability.
- You can work independently.
- It is useful if you have a driver's license.
Extra information
You are available at least 16 hours per week.
