Cosis supports people with mental and/or intellectual disabilities in living, working and day care. In Haren, we have a residential location on Torenlaan where 30 clients live. Everyone has their own flat. Many residents go to work or to day care a few days a week. In addition, counselling is always available 24 hours a day.
Job tasks and duties
You will help out at the residential location and support both residents and the team. For example:
- Helping with tidying and cleaning the meeting room
- Supporting cosy coffee mornings
- Help with meal preparation
- Assist in serving meals
- Encouraging residents to exercise, for example by walking or cycling together
- Sometimes going with them to appointments, such as to the dentist or physiotherapist
- Help with shopping or small chores
- Organise activities, such as a bingo or shuffleboard night
Job skills and qualities
- You are reliable and well-groomed
- You enjoy working with people who are (slightly) disabled
- You can work independently
- It is useful if you have a driving licence
Extra information
You are available for a minimum of 16 hours a week.
