Do you provide visitors with an unforgettable experience?
We organize workshops, lectures and events in the Hortus all year round. From inspiring nature activities to special gatherings in the garden. To ensure that these activities run smoothly, we are looking for a volunteer activities supporter who can help with the organization and implementation.
Do you enjoy arranging things, keeping an overview and ensuring that everything is in the right place? Then this might be something for you.
You are part of the events team and ensure that activities are well prepared and visitors have a pleasant experience.
Job tasks and duties
- Creating scripts for activities.
- Maintain contact with participants via email.
- Ensure that materials and supplies are ready on time.
- Inform the reception team about upcoming activities.
- Communicate to the communications team what needs to be promoted and when.
- Thinking with the events team about an annual calendar of activities.
- You are the point of contact for visitors during activities.
- Creating registration forms and keeping track of registrations.
- Supporting the team during large-scale events.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
What are we looking for:
- An organized and enthusiastic person/student/graduate (MBO/HBO/WO).
- You enjoy organizing and coordinating activities.
- You work in a structured way and keep an overview.
- You communicate clearly and enjoy contact with people.
- You can work independently, but also coordinate well with the team.
- You like to think about new ideas for activities.
- Experience with organizing activities and events is an advantage.
