For our building at Heesterpoort 1, we are looking for a committed facility assistant who wants to help us with various practical activities. The WIJ teams from WIJ Groningen, the health clinic and the Language House work in the building. Various activities are also organized here every week for local residents.
Job tasks and duties
You are an indispensable link in the daily operations of the building. Your tasks and activities include:
- Keeping consultation rooms and common areas tidy.
- Keeping the kitchens clean, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Taking care of the plants in the building.
- Cleaning the windowsills.
- Making rounds through the corridors: what is good and what could be improved?
- Refilling coffee cups.
- Emptying trash and paper bins.
- Taking out paper containers and other waste.
- Sweeping the square and sidewalk around the building.
Job skills and qualities
- You like a tidy environment and like to roll up your sleeves.
- You are independent and see for yourself what needs to be done.
- You are reliable and enjoy contributing to a pleasant atmosphere in the building.
Extra information
This vacancy is filled as a participation job. For this you must be available at least 16 hours per week. For more information about a participation job, visit participatiebaan. The hours are flexible, spread over two days or divided over several half-days. A Declaration of Good Conduct (VOG) is part of the procedure.
