Are you looking for social contact and do you like to be active? Do you have a penchant for old crafts?
In Museum de Wachter, there are several workshops with old crafts, a clog factory, blacksmith's forge, joiner's shop and also a collection of steam machines. We think it is important to preserve this cultural heritage and show it to visitors.
You are welcome to support us in this. You don't have to have experience with a craft, you will work in a team of colleagues who can teach you the tricks of the trade.
In addition to the crafts, Museum De Wachter also consists of a bakery, a collection of old utensils and, of course, the beautifully restored mill.
The museum is run entirely by volunteers and is open on Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays from April to October. During the winter period, we do maintenance work on the mill, buildings and workshops.

During an introductory meeting, we can tell you what options are available and discuss what suits you best.

As a new employee, you will be inducted into your team and learn everything that goes with your job from your colleagues.
Extra information
The Guardian's team consists of a group of enthusiastic people. Cooperation and sociability with each other are very important to us.
On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings there are work mornings during which you can work with your team. We also drink coffee together then. Feel free to drop by for a chat and cup of coffee/tea.
During your shift on Saturday you can join us for lunch and we will of course provide freshly brewed coffee and tea.
