A man in his late 50s is rebuilding a social life after a difficult period. The amount of contacts has become limited. What he expects from a buddy: just an hour a week chatting with someone about hobbies, daily world events and/or other mundane matters. Some kind of base he can count on, the security of a weekly chat. First from his home, then perhaps an occasional outing, e.g. a walk, a museum visit or other small positive steps. His hobbies (painting and poetry), his passion for art movements (expressionism, impressionism, Hendrik Werkman/de Ploeg, the Groninger Museum), but also the world news.
