In our mini-supermarket in residential service centre Benlef, we help elderly people with small groceries.
It is a small Spar shop. The workload is low and it is very pleasant. You have time to pay attention and have a chat. If, for example, you have experience in shop work and would like to remain active (voluntarily) after retirement or during your studies, this is a nice way to help others.
Job tasks and duties
You will be responsible for opening the shop, kindly helping the elderly and enjoy giving some attention if there is a need. Small operations such as pricing products, counting a packing list and cash register work you enjoy doing.
Minimum education level: basisschool
Job skills and qualities
- You have experience with checkout work and/or are willing to learn.
- You are sociable, eager to help others (elderly people).
- You are responsible enough to open and close the shop.
- You are handy with a price stand/counting a number of products.
Extra information
It's a really nice vacancy, but does require that you have a morning to spare every week.
Every now and then we fill in for each other (during holidays). It would therefore be nice if you could fill in on Monday mornings when necessary. Others will then stand in for you during holidays.
