Volunteers (peer-listener) for @ease Groningen

@ease • job opening nr. 14849

Interesting about this job

Would you like to mean something to other young people in Groningen? Then perhaps voluntary work at @ease is something for you. As a volunteer, you will offer a listening ear to peers who are not feeling well. You will do this in our open house room in Groningen and via the online chat.

@ease is there for young people aged between 12 and 25 who want to let their heart out. About stress, hassles at home, performance pressure or just because they get stuck for a moment. The heart of @ease is formed by young volunteers: our peers. This peer-to-peer approach is unique in the Netherlands and proven effective. Because research shows that young people feel safe, seen and heard, precisely because they can talk to someone their own age who does not immediately diagnose them, but simply listens.
