Are you creative, sociable and enjoy making contacts? Would you like to help think about how we can make the Hortus more visible to a wide audience? We are looking for a communications assistant to help strengthen our communication and expand our network.
Together with the communications team, you will work on making the Hortus, our activities and events more visible. You will help build new collaborations and contribute to the image of one of the most beautiful green locations in the North of the Netherlands.
Job tasks and duties
What will you be doing:
- Maintain the communication email
- Scheduling appointments
- Update press lists
- Writing communication plans for events
- Considering annual plans
- Write press releases and other communication texts
- Maintaining old contacts and building new contacts and collaborations
- Think about how to put the Hortus better on the map
- Taking notes during meetings
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys making new contacts
- Creative and communicatively strong
- Cooperates well
- Able to work independently and show initiative
- Affection with nature, culture and events
- You are present at the Hortus for at least 1 part of the day per week and can work partly from home .
