The Food Bank helps people living in poverty or financial need by temporarily providing them with free food parcels. They also actively combat food waste by putting products that would otherwise be destroyed to good use
.We offer you a great workplace where you will work 6 days a week with other fellow volunteers to ensure that over 2,000 people in the City of Groningen have food to eat.
Job tasks and duties
As a driver, you will basically drive in and around Groningen to collect food from various supermarkets, bakeries and wholesalers. After the morning drive, there are often several extra drives scheduled including drives to Meppen, Drachten, Arhnhem or elsewhere in the country
.Job skills and qualities
- You are in possession of driving licence B.
- Driving 6 days a week from 07:00 to about 13:00 and on extra trips it can sometimes be 15:00.
- You can indicate how many days you want to work.
- In consultation, the schedules are made together with colleagues.
