GoudGoed's thrift shops collect usable goods. Goods are delivered to drop-off points or collected (free of charge). Everything that is still usable is sorted and repaired if necessary. The items are priced and sold in ééone of the GoudGoed thrift shops.
Job tasks and duties
A driver is the first person at WerkPro that someone meets in person. If this person has a customer-friendly appearance, that is nice. Some people have that in themselves; others can learn a thing or two. The driver is physically capable of doing the work, and knows his/her way around the city. It's nice when you have that favour factor.
- We like to see that you are customer-friendly and service-oriented.
- To be able to load and unload, you have to perform lifting activities with the available tools.
- In a participation job, you are available for at least 16 hours a week.

Job skills and qualities
- You are in possession of driving licence B.
- You can deal with customers in a friendly and correct manner.
- You are capable of lifting.
- You can carefully handle saleable items.
- You recognise what is saleable and what should actually go to the dump
Extra information
We check during an introductory meeting what the volunteer likes and wants to grow towards; what the situation is in which he or she is and what is needed for a personal step. We are looking for in a volunteer someone who, after a short familiarisation period, can quickly work independently and strengthen the team. If that's you, you can get an expense allowance of 1.30 per hour.
We look during the introductory meeting to see what the situation is in which you are and what you need. Sometimes during this meeting it also becomes clear that there is a possibility of a participation job (municipality of Groningen, Ten Boer, Zuidhorn), a reïntegration programme or a day care placement. In the end, it's all about us both being able to be satisfied with a nice workplace for you.
You may be eligible for an hourly stipend, but if you also have to incur travel expenses, our reimbursement options for an hourly stipend are limited. Please discuss this when engaging with us.
