Job tasks and duties
At Mill Museum The Guardian we have about 10 steam engines. Operation and maintenance is done by volunteers. Training can be done by our own (older) colleagues. This can be supplemented by an official steam course.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
Technical insight little bit of understanding of engines is helpful.
Extra information
At the Guardian, about 160 volunteers are active in various fields.
It is a sociable time together for the preservation of an important cultural heritage.
