Job tasks and duties
The work of the neighborhood caretaker is aimed at a liveable neighborhood that is clean, whole and safe.
- You are the link between residents and authorities.
- You are the point of contact for local residents and environmental management.
- You supervise the fire lanes, porches and cellars.
- You report technical malfunctions and irregularities.
- You speak to residents if they do something that is prohibited.
- You clean up litter and replace broken lamps in the fire lanes.
- You prepare reports and consult with the corporations about this.
- For the elderly, you do chores in and around the house.
- You participate in various consultations and neighborhood-oriented activities such as Spring Fever and neighborhood days.
- You do other work that benefits the residents and the living environment.
Job skills and qualities
- You have a social and service-oriented attitude.
- You have good communication skills.
- You have an active working attitude.
- You are physically able to perform the work.
- You can work independently as well as in a team.
