Job tasks and duties
As an Entree employee, you will be part of the WIJ team. You inform, advise and support local residents with their questions about, for example, housing, welfare, care and finances. You offer a listening ear and are open to ideas and initiatives from residents. In an initial conversation, you try to clarify the question and look for possibilities together with the resident.
Job skills and qualities
- You can empathise with the situation of local residents and have an open, approachable attitude .
- You have good social and communication skills
- You can inform, advise and support
- You have some knowledge of laws and regulations, social services and the social map or you want to go into this.
- You are involved and follow what is going on in the Beijum district and municipality of Groningen.
- You are handy with the computer (search, register, e-mail).
- It is an advantage if you bring knowledge and experience from similar work.
- You are fluent in Dutch (oral and written).
- It is an advantage if you speak Papiamento.
