Stichting Culturele Droomwevers • job opening nr. 11081

Interesting about this job

A chance to collaborate with 100 artists and writers on a special and valuable project. We will weave dreams for children through sound and colour, including music, poëzie, illustration, film and many more art forms. You will also receive name entry in the online inspiration guide on Dreamweavers.co.uk plus a copy of the final book.

Job tasks and duties

Dreamweavers is looking for an educator with an educational and/or teaching background. Most importantly, someone has a passion for art, culture and language én wants to engage with children. As the work focuses on educational material, it is important to ensure its quality.

  • You assess educational material (books, films, songs, essays) for quality, added value and whether/how it fits within the programme lines and the needs of the target audience.
  • You ll advise the team of makers.
  • You will help sort an inspiration guide (for children) based on our multimedia project (picture book, games, music and online content) called ABC of Wisdom. This involves sorting various books, films, songs, essays, etc. by age and school groups.
  • You will prepare a simple administration of the entire project incl. the partners involved.

Also, if you would like to take on part of the work, we would be happy to talk to you. There are possibilities for a partnership with several volunteer educators. If you are interested in this, please indicate this in your response.

Extra info:

We have developed educational materials that are easily accessible to children and adults. In a playful and accessible way children are introduced to culture, dance, language and various art and music forms through our educational material. Our offer has several levels after the basic introduction, so that we can make a cultural contribution to children for many years to come.

Discovering culture in a playful and accessible way.

Playfully, children discover new dreams!
