Tuinindestad is a piece of urban nature, where the wind blows nicely through your head. It is located behind Vinkhuizen in the Westpark. That seems far, but is only 15 minutes cycling from the Martinitoren.
People meet each other, outside in the garden or inside in the living room. Have a cup of coffee, ask a question or buy a plant. Children play on the nature playground or pet the bunnies. Sometimes there is a course or workshop.
Together we make Tuinindestad. A pleasant working atmosphere and collegiality are important. Tuinindestad is not a rigid organisation. Everyone is equal, comes and goes on their own time.
There is always plenty to do and experience, but we are also particularly open to your ideas.
Job tasks and duties
After more than two years of construction, Tuinindestad is 'ready to go'. We have a fantastic building with a large kitchen on a site with nursery gardens, vegetable garden, camping field and playground. We are looking for people with a creative mind, who can further shape the site, as a "magical place"
- E.g. as a builder, designer, developer of garden castles (we're just mentioning something crazy, maybe you have completely different ideas).
- As programmer of an activity, or activity programme (what would you like to do with us & with or for whom?).
- As a food inventor or a beverage brewer (we have a food dehydrator, for example, where you can dry fruit, but you might come up with something completely different).
Whatever you come up with, if you wander around with us. Tuinindestad is a wonderful place, 15 minutes by bike from Martinitoren, where you can give your creativity free rein. A place where nothing is compulsory, but (almost) everything is possible. Come along!
