As a tidying coach, you support residents of the municipality of Groningen who, for various reasons, have to deal with a house that is (relatively) full of household goods. The resident has lost the overview due to the quantity and/or lack of practical tidying places. He/She and can no longer enjoy living in his/her own house.
As a volunteer you are part of the voluntary Clean-up Coach team of an average of 25 clean-up coaches. You work independently with the resident in his/her/his home situation. As a starting Clean-up Coach, you will receive more guidance from the coordinator. You will also participate in intervision meetings and you can follow free workshops and training courses via development link.
Job tasks and duties
Who has too much stuff in the house can lose track of things and feel the need to make space. But how do you tackle this? A volunteer tidying coach from WerkPro works with the resident to tidy, sort and organise things. Just until they are proud of their living environment again. The support for the resident is free, no indication is needed and is intended for motivated residents on a tight budget. Do you like tidying up and supporting Groningen residents in this?

Job skills and qualities
We are looking for a tidying coach to assist residents in organising and tidying their living space. As a tidying coach, you will be:
- Social and respectful.
- A good listener.
- Flexible and creative.
- Able to leave the final direction with the client.
- Independent and reliable.
- Good at dealing with (possible) resistance.
- Available for longer trajectories (usually 6-12 months).
Experience is a plus, but not required. If you are empathetic and committed, we invite you to respond and become part of the clean-up coaching team!
