The Direct Enrollment Team will be newly established. The coordinator and staff will have direct contact with (new) Food Bank clients. They assess and screen the information of potential clients. In some situations, they will be in contact with social workers. The position offers room for personal initiative, and employees at the Food Bank have their own workspace.
Job tasks and duties
As a member of the Direct Applications Team, you are responsible for processing applications and conducting intake interviews with potential clients.
- Responsible for the administrative processing of applications and conducting intake interviews with potential clients.
- Ensures accurate and complete handling of applications, including intake interviews, screening, and rescreening.
- Schedules and conducts enrollment appointments with residents applying for food assistance.
- Communicates independently with clients and relevant support services regarding the approval or denial of food assistance, including reviewing bank statements and other required documentation.
- Handles all mail and telephone correspondence related to the application process.
- Consults with colleagues and the coordinator when questions arise about the allocation of food aid.
- Ensures the privacy and confidentiality of clients, both inside and outside the Food Bank.
Minimum education level: mbo

- You are available for two half-days per week.
