Job tasks and duties
A visiting volunteer, you will provide a social contact, a walk, a chat etc. The most important thing is that you are there! The feeling that someone makes the effort to visit regularly makes someone feel ‘worthwhile’. And that is what it is all about. Once a week or fortnight is very appreciated.
Would you like to share, when desired, share interests; photography, music, culture, recipe or creative hobbies’s? In consultation, much is always possible.
Volunteers make a huge contribution to the quality of life of frail elderly people. Volunteers can be a bridge that closes the gap in society. A personal contact reduces the resident's social isolation and brings fun into the resident's daily life.
