You are part of the FC Groningen organisation. The feeling of belonging to a big family. That you will be called on at all major events at Euroborg (FC Groningen home matches) and possibly for away matches!
In addition to being paid a volunteer allowance for this work, FC Groningen also provides other things such as work clothes (jacket), training and possibly a packed lunch.
In addition, the volunteer organisation (VRG) organises various activities during the season.
Job tasks and duties
As a steward, you will be a point of contact for visitors to FC Groningen. You have an important, controlling and customer-friendly function. You will supervise the entrance and search visitors at the entrance. You will answer questions and inform and refer visitors. You are communicatively capable of identifying/resolving all kinds of (minor) situations and/or calling in help if necessary.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people who:
Between 18 and 60 years old.
- Available for home and away FC Groningen matches.
- To be alert and assertive.
- To be flexible, stress-resistant and have a broad degree of responsibility.
- To be presentable and customer-friendly.
- Have good communication skills.
- To be decisive and confident.
- Able to work collaboratively with all disciplines within the club.
- Be willing to follow prescribed dress instructions.
- To be willing to follow courses and attend instruction days including the KNVB/UEFA steward training (about five half-day sessions).
