Job tasks and duties
Do you have an eye for detail and enjoy cleaning? At Simplon Hostel we have a spot for you in our housekeeping team. Together with your colleagues, you'll make sure everything is neat and fresh! With your efforts we will contribute to a hospitable and clean environment where our guests feel welcome.
We have lunch together during the day and from Tuesday to Saturday there will be a delicious soup prepared for you by our colleagues and neighbours De Prael. We would love to welcome you to our cosy team.
Job skills and qualities
- Able to work in a structured (neat) manner.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Extra information
For people on welfare benefits, we are happy to arrange a participation job.
You will work a minimum of 16 hours and after 6 months you will receive a bonus of €100.00 per month worked. Read more about this on the website of the municipality of Groningen.People on WW benefit can also do voluntary work at the Simplon Jongerenhotel.
If you need more guidance than average, that is not a problem, we will see what suits you and what is possible.
