At the Speel-O-Theek, all children aged 0 to 18 living in the municipality of Groningen can borrow toys. Grandpa’s, grandma’s, guest parents and carers can also become members. The Speel-O-Theek has all kinds of indoor and outdoor toys, games and puzzles. Game computers with matching games are also lent out. A birthday bag or game bag can be borrowed for a party. A maximum of 4 children per family can become a member of the Speel-O-Theek. Toys can be borrowed for a maximum of 4 weeks. One toy may be borrowed per child every 4 weeks and one game or puzzle is added per family. After a maximum of 4 weeks, the toys are returned and new toys can be selected. Specific featuresVolunteers get a discount on membership and can join at any time. You can also sell your second-hand children's clothes for free at the clothing fair.

We are looking for additional volunteers, living in the municipality of Groningen, who would like to contribute to the Speel-O-Theek. It is a fun and above all useful function and does not require much time. The main task involves doing a desk shift once a month. For Saturday mornings in particular, we are looking for more volunteers.
